“I see all around, the beauty. I see shapes, light, color, and I see God the creator in it.”
He spent years restoring oil paintings at Odesa's restoration centre. He has lived in the US since 2000. He paints outdoors, for hours, in any weather; the studies feed larger canvases in the studio.
His school is Impressionism: light, air and mood — coastlines, gardens, river valleys, village streets, the Northwest. He paints at his home studio in Ridgefield, Washington, and shows at Rebecca Anstine Gallery in downtown Vancouver.
