Upcoming events
In America he settled in Berkeley: the Kitaev trio recorded at Larry Blake's, and in 1996 at Vartan Jazz in Denver he played a concert with Eddie Gomez and Eliot Zigmund, the bassist and drummer of Bill Evans's trio. The album Live at Vartan Jazz is Evans, Porter, Arlen and Hancock. Kitaev now lives near Portland: he plays Conway's House of Jazz solo, in duos and with the Ron Steen Trio, and gave two evenings with the soprano Elina Avanesyan at The Burlingame Space.
