Bombargo began when singer Nathan Toews and guitarist Spencer Chilliak met by chance and drove 16 hours to the Sasquatch festival, where they decided to form a band. Now there are five of them: Nathan was joined by his brother Anthony, and brothers Matt and Sammy Folkersen took keys and bass. They play vintage pop with soul, and their songs are written for the crowd to sing along. When Taylor Swift added their “Mr. No Good” to her playlist, Bombargo were the only unsigned band on it.
