London trio Mary in the Junkyard pairs guitar indie rock with cello. The band builds all its stage sets by hand. At their shows they share the stage with mechanical jaws, giant faces and papier-mâché figures. The group has already opened for Wet Leg and now comes to Portland with its debut album, “Role Model Hermit.”
