She holds violin performance degrees from the Prague Conservatory and the Catholic University of America, and a degree in violin pedagogy; her principal teachers were František Pospíšil, Howard Beebe and Robert Gerle. She toured with the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester under Claudio Abbado and gave solo recitals at the Polish and Czech embassies in Washington. In 2009 she formed the Lyrical Strings Duo with guitarist Stephen Osserman; their second album, On An Overgrown Path, sets their own arrangements of Janáček, Martinů, Wieniawski and Lysenko for violin and guitar. She plays Shostakovich quartets at Holocene and Verdi's Requiem at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. She also composes: in November 2026 Fear No Music sight-reads one of her miniatures.
