The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s holiday concert opens with the overture to Strauss’s Die Fledermaus, followed by Leroy Anderson’s Christmas pieces and music from The Nutcracker. Violinist Noah Geller is the soloist, and before the concert music director Salvador Brotons gives a pre-concert talk. A light family evening of holiday music played by a full orchestra.
