One Saturday a month, Portland Japanese Garden reads children stories connected to Japanese culture and the garden’s seasonal celebrations. November’s theme is gratitude: tales about noticing and appreciating friends, family and the world around us. The stories are chosen for children, but everyone is welcome to listen. A good reason to come to the garden with a child and stay for a walk.
