Since 1990, Trinity Irish Dance Company has been taking Irish dance beyond tradition: precise Irish technique is the foundation, and from there come tap, jazz and contemporary dance. The program includes Séseacht, choreographed by Michelle Dorrance, The Sash and Pasture Bedtime, Bleating Hearts. Between pieces the company’s own band plays, sometimes recognizable Irish folk, sometimes its own guitar rock. An evening for the whole family: fast feet, leaps, formations and lots of light.
