The Woman, Life, Freedom movement that began in Iran in 2022 is the starting point for an evening where music, painting, film and light tell a single story. It was conceived by artist Taravat Talepasand and percussionist and composer Christopher White: solo percussion and electronic soundscapes unfold among projections and paintings. The program features new works by Anahita Abbasi, Niloufar Nourbakhsh and Aida Shirazi. The action moves from sunset to sunrise, like the path of women who have endured and keep speaking through art.
