Portugal. The Man with Oregon Symphony

Portugal. The Man is a rock band that grew up in Alaska and made its name in Portland, so an evening with Oregon Symphony is almost a homecoming. Their songs, including ones from the new album SHISH, are heard in orchestral arrangements where strings and brass answer the guitars. Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall rarely gets this loud.
