Aterciopelados blend rock with Colombian and Latin American musical traditions. The band is led by Andrea Echeverri and Héctor Buitrago. The current tour marks the thirtieth anniversary of La Pipa de la Paz. A concert for anyone curious how rock sounds when it grows not from Anglo-American soil but from Colombian.
