She trained in acting at GITIS, the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts, in the Stanislavski system and in Russian folk dance, then earned an MFA in Acting at the University of Washington, with further training in Butoh, physical performance and stage combat. She started over from scratch: in Oregon she cleaned the Wings and Waves waterpark in McMinnville. Her solo Harvest of Woman, about women's unseen labor, grew out of a six-month CoHo Theater residency: a Fertile Ground workshop in spring 2025, a CoHo premiere that July, then a run at BASE in Seattle.
Her work has been presented by Hand2Mouth Theatre, PICA, New Expressive Works and Fertile Ground, with RACC support. In 2022 she produced Heart of Stone, a play about choreographer Alisher Khasanov that brought Russian- and English-speaking artists onto one stage. Nov.
19–22, 2026, Performance Works NW shows a fourth version of Harvest of Woman, with film and music by Jason Okamoto.
