The listing says: Don Quixote with the Oregon Symphony, Zlatomir Fung, cello. It doesn't say that Fung was born in Corvallis in 1999 to a family of Bulgarian and Chinese roots, picked up the cello at three, and in 2019 became the first American in forty years and the youngest musician ever to win the International Tchaikovsky Competition. An Oregonian known at the Mariinsky, home again on the Schnitzer stage.
