Wynton Marsalis is stepping down as managing and artistic director of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, a post he has held for almost 40 years. Portland hosts one of the concerts on his farewell tour with the ensemble. Marsalis, a trumpeter and composer, is the only musician to have won Grammy Awards in both jazz and classical categories in the same year.
