The piano trio Busch Trio is named after violinist Adolf Busch. Violinist Mathieu van Bellen plays a 1783 Guadagnini that once belonged to Busch. The program, presented by Friends of Chamber Music, includes piano trios by Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff and Smetana. The ensemble brings to Portland a themed program uniting these works.
