Years ago, the older sister stole the younger one’s beloved, the young artist German, and took him off to another city. Now, on a snowy evening before New Year’s, she calls her sister with an unexpected request: to become German’s wife. Snow Tango, based on Alexei Slapovsky’s play Sisters, is a classic love triangle where the serious mixes with irony and plot twists repeatedly change how we see the characters. The sisters are played by Elena Ksenofontova and Daria Poverennova, German by Alexei Grishin; the performance is in Russian.
