Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuéllar plays the Christmas music of Mexico, and Ballet Folklorico del Rio Grande dances in bright folk costumes. Through song and dance they tell the story of Mary and Joseph’s journey, the posadas, the Magi and, of course, the piñata. A festive family evening with a tradition rarely seen in full in Portland.
