In autumn, Lan Su becomes a garden of flowers and light: eighteen local florists and guest designer Tony Tibbitts interpret the theme “Golden Flowers Over Autumn Water.” This evening is deliberately quieter and calmer than usual, so the installations can be taken in without crowds or noise. The classical Chinese garden in the center of Portland is rarely like this.
